The Piedmont Triad Education Consortium is a collaboration of fifteen K-12 public school districts and seventeen higher education institutions in central North Carolina. Consortium members have created a climate in which the strengths of each agency have joined together to become the power of one committed educational community.

Welcome to our PTEC website!

2013-2014 represents the final "official" year of collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Public instruction and our commitment  to collaborate on professional development offerings designed to support each district's Scope of Work under Ract to the Top. We will continue to work closely with our Regional Lead, members of the Regional Roundtable, and DPI staff working out of Raleigh. We believe that a part of our role in PTEC is to represent your needs to DPI and to serve as a "bridge" between our PTEC districts and the Department of Public Instruction.

Please see our calendar of events and select those professional development offerings which will most benefit your professional growth. We will continue with our popular and highly effective North Carolina presenters as well as bringing a number of nationally recognized presenters to our region. Many of you have made suggestions for presenters and, based on presenter availability, we have scheduled them for the Piedmont.
